Although the threat of water risk is not immediate, we fully recognise the gravity of the issue and the importance of developing a long-term plan in responding to the water challenge. Water is crucial to our operations, notably to the cleaning and the production of food and energy.
Rotana has a goal to reduce water consumption, in terms of both total water consumption and water consumption per occupied room. A water conservation and reduction programme was developed to reduce water consumption in our hotels, including improved water use efficiency and minimisation of water wastage.
